| Iraq war veteran and double amputee Lewis Puertes of the U.S. stretches with his running prosthetics before the start of the Army Ten-Miler race in Arlington, Virginia, October 7, 2007. Lewis ran as part of the Missing Parts In Action (MPIA) group which is made up of military amputees.
